From the man himself! :)
If I had a supplier that shipped my pit directly to you would that work?
I could see that you might want to wait until you get them all and batch process.
I did the solar thing. I’m not a fan. Will be switching to an ankle next time. Probably a 5000
You know those tyvek cardholder things they give you at the bank? ID, credit card, $20 bill. That’s it for me
I’m happy with my Ohm 2.0. I wish there was a little elastic to finish the top of the mesh pocket, but no complaints other than that. I’ve hauled the big bear vault in it, which isn’t super pleasant...
I bought some of the cloth like tyvek to mock up a tent and never used it. Would anyone like to trade some assorted grosgrain ribbon for some? I’d like to make my own headlamp headbands and need some...
Out of stock on the website, I believe I’m on the waiting list. Anyone got a Kit for sale? Maybe a canister or no cook convert?
Mine is pretty simple. Used a hole punch in 2L sawyer bag and tie 10ft of string. Just above where the string attaches to the 2L I have another string with a bowline on the free end and a prussik...
My Hubba NX has also lost the elastic. Was this comped or were you billed?
If you know any lineman you can probably get “mule tape” for free
I made my own out of one of those anti fatigue mats for my garage. It was supposed to be a mock up, but 4-5 hikes later and they still work!
I have one if your still interested
I’ve got a TarpTent Protrail if you are interested.
I also use the straws. I heat seal one end, the bend the other over and cap with a small chunk of the rubber smoothie straws we get from a local coffee shop
Looks great! I keep burning my lips on that mug. Tried putting a silicone band around it but it keeps skipping down exposing the metal when I least expect it.
Not for "harsh" environments, but I use a cheapo umbrella I picked up on amazon.
4oz, $12, don't expect the world out of it.

I too have been having issues of loosing my pillow when cutting out unnecessary clothing or when the temp drops and I am wearing everything that's dry. Some suggested a partially inflated gallon...
I'll be third in line, just in case
Seems like it would be very effective in a teepee type tent. Waterproof but ventilated.
I wear them for anything longer than a day hike! I love them when going off trail, but I don't LOVE the look :P
Anyone make a little tent for their dog? I was thinking about doing one as a small project to test my sewing skills on.
Pics?
I like going with my Patagonia Baggies shorts with a liner and no underwear. I use bodyglide to prevent chafing.
Has anyone every tried making an umbrella that is a trekking pole attachment?
Seems like there would be one out there, but google didn't return anything for me.
Have a 6 and a 3 year old. Using a marmot kompressor for the 6 year old but it's still a bit big.
Looking to be able to hand it down to the 3 year old eventually
