    +1 on hammock. I used a tent originally and would toss and turn all night, might as well not even have a sleeping pad. made the switch to a hammock and now I sleep like a rock, I don't hardly move....

    the 15* is on its way. thanks for your input. I was wanting it because I get condensation from the tarp. it doesn't affect my down underquilt at all but top gets wet/icey occasionally.

    20F Underquilt: Full Length vs Partial + Pad

    I just got my HG economy incubator 20 and did a few nights in dolly sods. temps were near 0 snowing and 30 mph winds. I was warm all night, don't think I want to test much below that though.
