as a section hiker...ive learned the last thing i worry about are shuttle drivers..i have never ended where i planned..either too far or too short..they are a paid service and a call 1 day is enough...

gut hooks is a great app...the mileage is terrible..i feel sometimes it makes a direct line instead of actually using the trail...just be mindful..its awesome and I love it

no way...a thur hiker can average in the 2.2 - 2.7 mph....average joe cut that in half...my mornings are always fast till lunch..then i slow down to enjoy my afternoon.. there is really no need to...

I'm doing this in late october....plenty of shelters..its short enough you don't need a resupply...plenty of shuttles and real close to DC to ober in...

in october I'm headed south from Harpers Ferry to Front royal (five day resupply ) then maybe another five day to Luray.....
