Very helpful thread, I am thinking to switch to hammock also.
I just ordered Ohm 2.0, I think it will be a wise decision.
Check it out the new features.
I love cuben, the price wouldn't be so high if you order the fabric and make the tarp yourself.
I known three places to buy this fabric.
zpacks.com
prolitegear.com
antigravity
This fabric could be a little noisy the first time use, you could put it in a washer to get rid of the noise.
Footprint and backpack rain cover as far as I see.
I like Black Diamond, I found it was very hard when loading batteries on a princeton tec headlamps.
How about Fenix LD01? Very compact, lightweight, but you need to pay around 40 bucks.
I would just go to outdoor forum and online store.

KookaBay has air pillow on sale, a good choice!
The fabric that MSR uses is rather durable but also adds a lot weight. I have a msr twin sister, it is a floor less, single wall two-person tent, I can't believe it weighs over 3 lbs.
The ohm 2.0 is coming out, the new hip belt is just the same as the circuit. The supporting poles are now inside the back. All these new features are fantastic to me.
I just switched from Panasonic LX5 to Canon S95. It depends on your budget, but I would say S95 could give you one of the best quality pictures among all same size cameras.
Battery lasts a little...
I used to own a black diamond gizmo, it is lightweight and cheap, but I found the light is dim. Thanks to god, I then lost gizmo, I got a chance to switch to black diamond spot. Much much more bright...
The ohm 2.0 is coming out. Full suspension, same hip belt as circuit, a good choice if you want to cut more weight.
I use a fleece outer shell stuff sack and loaded with my down jacket.
It would be easy to find a good deal on a 150 shirt. I saw it is around $40 on Backcountry.com.
I would choose between Marmot Precip Jacket and Patagonia Torrentshell Jacket. The fabric of the Precip jacket is rather soft, I like that feeling. Both are Lightweight, clean design, really great...
That material is great for groundsheet.
It seems that ID discontinued its clothing product line.
Mammut Ultimate Hoody could be a awesome choice, very sharp look, lightweight design.
I like my Meta 2P, superb quality, super easy to setup.
I had a nano puff pullover, while I returned it after a while. I don't like its baggy fit.
