    I love down, and use it from time to time....

    I love down, and use it from time to time. However, I feel on the AT were it is mostly damp, synthetic wins out in my pack. Yes heavier, yes bulkier. But it will always be warm and dry quicker.

    Golite tumalo vs. marmot precip
