In search of a dehydrator

Since we are currently 1000 miles away from our storage space and living tiny and mobile, I find myself in need of more veggies on trail. I am looking for a dehydrator to fill this "gap."

Requirements:
small footprint - we have limited counter space and would obviously need to leave this running for hours on end.
"collapsible" preferred - for easier storage while traveling
500W + ? - thinking that if it uses 500W or more the drying time might be quicker? Maybe less wattage would actually produce a better result?
Also want to be able to make jerky in it (though I think this covers all dehydrators)
Prefer SQUARE for easier storage

Where are you located?

I use an Excalibur and I am pretty happy wth it. They have a smaller model that may work for you. Good Luck

For what it's worth, I've got an Excalibur 9 tray sitting in my storage unit. It works fine, but I haven't used it in a long time and I'd love to work my way out of the storage unit. It may be bigger than what you have in mind, but let me know if you might be interested.

I have used the 4 tray Excalibur model referenced above by flatcatgear for probably 15 years with no issues. Very happy with it.

definitely bigger than what I have in mind. I actually owned one before we "went tiny."

I need to measure my countertops and see where it would "live" when we are stationary and also where we could store it when traveling.
