I'm taking Beauty Beneath the Dirt on tour this summer from Georgia to Maine; calling it the G2M Tour. Also, did a test-drive of the screening process last week in San Francisco. Absolutely incredible - I could not have hoped for more. People laughed, cried, applauded, gasped. Plans for the G2M tour (#G2MTour) are well under way. Trail Days is next week. Screening at the Portage Theatre in Chicago is June 5th. The G2M Tour has very much been a joint event with the communities themselves- where this is profit, it's split with the local arts council. Where an outfitter helps us advertise, we return the favor by talking them up in press and through our outlets- we've also held a number of free events at these outfitters where we talk with folks about gear (that people can then buy in the store). To date this thread has been used to provoke discussion; should people who read this thread actually attend a ticketed event I will gladly donate to Whiteblaze....
