Trail from John's hollow to the top of the mtn is fine. From that point at the top all the way to punch bowl along the ridge is virtually impassable due to fallen trees, branches resulting from recent ice storm there. It's a genuine mess. I went through there nobo on 16 Nov and it took over 5 hours to hike from top of mtn to punchbowl. It's going to take a significant amount of effort to clear that section of the trail.
