I think it's a sweet article, obviously written by a completely inexperienced admirer, which, frankly, I admire.

That being said, yeah, their hair will be grown back before they hit tick country, I hope they don't actually finish the trail with blisters, I want one of those bear repelling potty trowels, if frozen footwear the a high stress situation, well, there's gotta be something else going on, and finally, given that a "power couple", in my understanding, is a couple that are both employed in high paying and highly influential jobs, I don't think two newlyweds on a five month backpacking trip quite count.

But hey, I haven't really read or watched too many popular media pieces about something I had intimate knowledge of that didn't have some pretty significant flaws in their understanding and/or interpretation of facts. Makes you wonder about our nation being lead by a guy that gets most of his understanding of the world from a TV set and one news channel.

Usually "Power Couples" are two people that are in the top 20-25% in the field that they work in. Event planning is a very lucrative high paying career.
