Where to park my vehicle in or near Damascus for Section hike?

I plan on doing a section his on the AT from Erwin to Damascus, possibly a lot further depending on time.

Any idea where in or near Damascus I could park my car?

I plan on taking a shuttle or bus to Erwin from Damascus and then hiking up. Does this make sense or are there better options?

Damascus Public Library on Water Street. Free and no issues. Just parked there last weekend.

The Library at Damascus , to right of Scouts entry arch , has a gravel parking lot by the river . Great place to park for your 2-3 week section hike . My son parked there last year when he joined me on my hike from Davenport Gap to Marion , Va . No issues . Turned on to spot by " Woodchuck "who runs the Woodchuck Hostel in Damascus . Great guy ( former AT thru hiker ) Great Hostel , Great help for hikers . Good luck
