    The 2019 mileages for Appalachian Trail shelters are out. There were some minor mileage changes on the trail in GA, NC, Central VA, CT and MA. In all there was only 1.1 miles added to the whole trail for 2019.

    I found an old outdated article on another web site that was three years out of date. There were places that were closed or no longer accepted mail drops. The article was in need of being updated. I thought it would be a good idea to put one together and post it here.

    This resupply list was created, keeping a few things in mind.

    1. It was based on 15 mile hiking days.
    2. List places that you could either resupply by mail drops or at stores with good hiker supplies.

    Getting to Amicalola Falls/Springer Mountain or Katahdin, Baxter State Park, Maine 


    From the Atlanta Airport: You can use the MARTA trains to either the Greyhound station or the Amtrak station. MARTA, (404)848-4711.
    To get to either of them take the MARTA train north from the airport.
    For the Greyhound station exit the train at Garnett station at 232 Forsyth Street.


    For the Amtrak station: exit at the Arts Center station and take bus #23 or walk to the Amtrak station on Peachtree Street aprox. 1 mile north. Other options from the airport to the bus and train
