AT# 8 VA Bears Den Snickers Gap to Harpers Ferry WV


With Caras and 2 Mile (Bears Den Hostel)


Met Caras and Bruce 3 miles south on trail...at 994 mile. Hiked north 11 miles to Blackburn Hostel (mile 1005); great Hostel with shower, eating areas and wood bunks. Met nobounders from Terra Alta WV. 5/28 Hiked 11 miles to ATC Conservancy and Harpers Ferry for lunch and ice cream. In the summer watch out for mosquitoes. This was an easy section you can glide through!
