Gumby Brian 2013 April 11, 2013 November 18, 2013 I went to seek nature and found it absolutely amazing. I learned firsthand that it's the fellowship, kindness, and sharing along the way that truly makes the journey such a rich experience. The AT is really about people. From the hikers; to the trail angels; to the trail crews & clubs; to the hostel, motel, & tavern owners etc: I thank you all, and I thank God for His many blessings that came our way to make this adventure possible. For now, there are more trails to find before journey's end... Brian Kennebunk Maine Brian Richardson

Peru Lisa K 2011 March 18, 2011 September 29, 2011 Okay, I actually finished at Great Barrington instead of the Big K, because I was compelled, compelled I say, to fill in a 3/4 mile gap I'd skipped due to rumored floods. Amusingly, it actually WAS flooded when I returned and I ended up slogging through muck and rampant mosquitos to finish my measly little skip that I could not forgive myself! I also actually started on 2/17, although I only went out for 20 miles over a weekend and returned a month later to "actually" start. Twisted webs, I tell you what. Lisa Charlotte North Carolina botanista
