2014 I hiked 1182.8 miles before I had to quit due to weight loss.
I came back in 2015 and hiked 756.6 miles to Maine! Where I dislocated my shoulder in Mahoosuc Notch! In 2016 came back to Maine and finished the remaining miles to Katahdin! 2185.3 miles hiked! |

2014 was a perfect year to hike. I loved that I was in Main in the fall and got to experience all four seasons while on the trail. Spring was awesome but Maine in fall is the best! |

I went to seek nature and found it absolutely amazing. I learned firsthand that it's the fellowship, kindness, and sharing along the way that truly makes the journey such a rich experience. The AT is really about people. From the hikers; to the trail angels; to the trail crews & clubs; to the hostel, motel, & tavern owners etc: I thank you all, and I thank God for His many blessings that came our way to make this adventure possible.
For now, there are more trails to find before journey's end... |

A 4 year flip-flop. 2007 hiked MA to Katahdin. After reaching the Big K I had to get off the trail because of knee issues. After 2 knee replacements I returned to the AT to complete hike from MA to Springer. Since then I have continued to hike with no knee issues. Metal knees are great! |
