The AT was exceptionally challenging this year with all the foul weather and poor trail conditions. The greatest reward for me was a week of great weather through the Whites and Cats, and mostly good weather into Maine. In the later half of July, the mud bogs in ME had mostly dried up and stream fording was easy! Katahdin on August 1...epic! |
