This is a well, not a privy. Dry most of the time, but always has spiders.

This spring which has been listed as dry by most guidebooks was flowing most of last year and was flowing and not frozen on Jan 25th, 2004 when we hiked into the shelter.

Just downhill from the rock pile behind the shelter where everyone goes to take a dump since there is no privy. Make sure you treat the water!
