North of the Tumbling Run shelters, the A.T. ascends from approximately 1200 feet elevation to approximately 1950 feet elevation at Chimney Rocks on the summit of Buzzard Peak in the next 1.3 milles. This is a view of the A.T. looking north from a location approximately 0.1 mile north of the Tumbling Run shelters. SoBo 1115.7 NoBo 1063.4.
