Sun came out for about 10 minutes just before we headed down. Got this clear shot of the A-frame on Pikes Peak before it started raining again.

    Would be real nice to have a date for the photo! What's that hose pipe for?!

    The picture was taken 10-01-08. The hose is actually used for two reasons ~ 1) there is a natural spring that comes out of the mountain about 10 yards from the a-frame. They have stuck a pipe into the spring and the hose can be fasten to the pipe to assist in retriveing water for cooking etc. ~ 2) they use the hose to reach the Fire pit in front to put out the fire and the park service usues it to clean out the a-frame.
