I met Smooth (left) and Waldo (right) where the trail crosses RT-302 in Crawford Notch, NH. I'm glad I met them and was able to give them some trail magic, the first they had got on their SOBO hike in 2003. Both finished and I knew they would.

I met both Smooth and Waldo. Waldo at Walasi-Yi hostel at Neels Gap, GA and I think Smooth at Muskrat Creek Shelter in NC on a lunch break.
Both nice fellows!
