The AT crosses Waterville Bridge over Swatara Creek in Section 6 of the trail in Pennsylvania. This lenticular truss bridge was designed and manufactured by Berlin Iron Bridge Company of East Berlin, Connecticut, and built in 1890. It was relocated from Waterville in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, to Swatara State Park in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, in 1985, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
