Btwn NJ284 & NJ23 on Dec. 21 03. Looks like it's a couple days old. Can anyone offer any more info based on what you see? That's a men's size 10 boot for scale.

Large dog or coyote.

We saw LOTS of these that day in that area. Not being a tracker or anything, I think there were more than one of whatever this was there at the same time. It was on an old railroad grade pretty close to civilization so might be a big dog.

Actually, it's probably dog. Coyote tracks have the 2 front toes closer together.

It's not a bear and probably a dog or coyote.
