Description by Driver8
From a field on the AT about five miles southeast of Bear Mountain, a view of the Connecticut Taconics, with Bear Mountain (2326' - 2316' at its famed stone monument) appearing highest, Frissell to its left and behind (2453' just over the line in Mass), and Gridley (2211' leftward in front of Frissell). Weetauwachu Mountain, over which the AT traverses on the way to the Taconics, is left foreground.
