Hah, I didn't take one! I summited just after a small T-storm passed through. The wind was whipping, the clouds were scudding over the ground, the mist was heavy enough that I had to take off my glasses, and it was getting dark (Sept. 2006) on my first day of hiking. The fog was so thick that you couldn't see the next blaze, and I quickly felt that I was off-trail after the summit sign. I huddled behind a rock to check the map and guidebook, and realized that I was supposed to make a hard left turn (going NOBO) where I finally saw a cairn. I really didn't want to be caught up there after dark. I made it to the Beaver Brook Shelter just after sunset.

I have a picture somewhere of that sign and the colors are very interesting.
