Iron mountain gap to 19E - WhiteBlaze

Been out of country for a while and need some info on conditions.

I assume water is no problem but please correct me if wrong.

We will be getting started in afternoon so is there any camping spots a couple miles in as I dont think we can reach Greasy Creek gap before sun sets.

Have parked at Iron Mountain Gap before with no problem....any change I need to know about?

Any other info on conditions greatly appreciated.

The first good camping spot north of Iron Mtn Gap is the apple orchard. right before Weedy Gap. Just over a mile in. There is a spring on a small blue blaze through the orchard.

Then there are some wide spots along the trail but nothing like an official camp spot until Greasy Creek Gap & Clyde Smith after that.
