    Yes approach

Excited! Got a year to plan and save! Was going to go this July but had a few hiccups and didn't want to financially leave myself any miles short. Already have all my gear finalized, so, going to keep saving and who knows, might have a SOBO with some luxury lol.

Well, I made it 57.3 miles in 2012...AT, take 2!

    Trail name: Misplaced Moose

    Direction: NOBO

Start date: between March 11-15, 2013

    Approach trail: Definitely no, lol...

Additional info: I made my first attempt at the AT in March 2012. Like many thousands before me, I underestimated what the trail was capable of and overestimated what I was capable of. I am so happy I can go into this next hike with more than kitchen-table knowledge. I am excited to see what the AT has to offer this next year!

Good luck in preparations, class of 2013!

11 Yr. Veteran and Have been wanting to do this since I was 19, I am 33 now. I have a very loving GF/Fiance that wants me to complete this as well. I will be raising money to donate to the American Breast Cancer Foundation. I already have family and friends backing me up on this. Good luck to all those planing and prepping for this grand adventure next year.

Lost track of my count down, but I just recounted and I'm down to 281 days left!
We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
