Default Snow cover/water near Mcafee's Knob

    Hey,
I am planning a trip to the Mcafees Knob for early next week. Has anyone been out there recently? I know SW Virginia got some snow recently, but temps will be hitting the 60s later on this week and won't drob below freezing for quite a while. I expect a lot of mud for sure but am not sure how water sources are out there this time of year.
I will be starting at the parking lot, hiking up to the knob and going on an out/back trip to either tinker cliffs or dragons tooth.

    Cheers

A Roanoke buddy hiked to Tinkers yesterday , said they encountered about 4-5 inches of snow.
The trail had been traveled on and the snow was packed . I'm thinking once the snow melts in a few days the water sources will be fine.
Imagine the trail to McAfee to be even more traveled on since the snow.
