This year I plan to thru hike the Buckeye Trail again plus several other trips that range from 1 to 4 days on various trails throughout Ohio and Northern West Virginia.

My goal is to just get out there! Anywhere! And while I'm doing that, I will try to introduce my wife to backpacking. She is good with the day hikes, now we have to work up to the overnights. My long term goal is an AT thru hike, and hopefully, my wife will be able to accompany me!

I don't make resolutions, hiking or otherwise, but if I did, I'd make these:
complete my AT section hiking, begun in 2006, by hiking Caratunk to Katahdin
take my granddaughter on a short backpacking trip, destination tbd

I've got little kids at home right now, so I'm going to be limited to short trips. My 2 year old is nearly potty training though so I'm planning on taking him one some weekend trips to introduce him to backpacking, we've already talked about it a little he's pretty excited for right now. So we will see.
