    Restitution is $1M short of what he embezzled. I hope the wife he abandoned gets the rest.

    If not, expenses are minimal for a dirtbag lifestyle and he could live fairly well off the modest returns from $1M investment, although I guess he was "ATM-ing" it these last few years since it isn't likely he purchased an annuity with it or has a brokerage account.

    Well, the next eight years he won't have many expenses.

    8 yrs is about the lightest he could have gotten I suppose . They cut a deal to pay the restitution.

    I know an ex- crackhead that was making it and selling it in a house that was busted. He went to prison for only 2 yrs.

    I think courts are more lenient toward younger people that "made a mistake", than older. Not wanting to ruin their lives.

    This guy will probably get a book deal and end up doing pretty well.
