I'm all for people with limited ability to do as much as they can. But the term paralyzed means the person can not walk. My best to the person hiking. The person writing the article need to go back to kindergarten.

That right, she can't walk on her own. But with the aid of the electronic, motorized braces she can. I have my doubts about how well the current technology will hold up as she gets farther north when the trail becomes much more uneven and often requires large steps. That she's made it as far as she has is amazing and shows the potentual for this technology.

Wether she makes it to the end terminus is of no concern in my book, she's already made it! It's a great story.
