    What is the best way to package your backpack with gear to be sent by plane out west?

    I was thinking about wrapping it in kitchen plastic wrap, with an extra roll on top of the pack so the gorillas might rewrap the pack in plastic when they finish going through my stuff.

    Military duffel bag works good, practically indestructible.

    I used a contractor bag with success. Heavy duty plastic must be at least 6 mil, maybe 8. Came through with no holes, used it as a pack liner and then wrapped my pack in it on the way home.
