Planning a hike. Will begin at Fontana Dam to the NOC. Any insight on this section would be appreciated. Thanks

Well, its about 29 miles I recall. The only interesting points I recall is Cheoah Bald and the Jump Up.

A similar hike, might be Winding Stair gap to NOC, its 27.3 miles, and includes Wesser Bald, Wayah bald, Silers bald, the Jump Off.
