No apologies required my friend. I appreciate you and your comments. This is the SECOND time that I have posted this. First one seems to be missing.

I am guilty of going chiming in on a conversation that I guess I shouldn't because I went to what is new, didn't check the forum source, and often just go the the latest post. If a question was in the woman's forum or not, about a specific female issue that only women would be able to relate to I wouldn't really join in. But if the question is very broad like the example here on safety, it seems really counterproductive to only want answers from a very small group of people when there are is a lot more helpful info out there. Hey, it's a free country, sort of.

We aint been free for a long time...Since around...uh....1776?

Dude, I dont see how you're guilty of ANYTHING? We are either ALLOWED to comment and take part in their little part of this forum or we are not? It's actually that simple.

Seems awfully subjective based on whether THEY want us in there or not...

IF THATS THE CASE, can we get a MENS ONLY AREA? LOL!

For EXACTLY that reason, just seeing new messages in bulk, I once commented in what I had not realized was a forum on a specific trail. The issue SEEMED general and I commented correctly but in context not appropriately. Very embarrassing.

This is the old "No girls allowed" treehouse sign thing I think. We've got to try to keep out.

IMO this thread is ridiculous. It is going in my ignore thread list as it has become an annoyance!

Teardrop1776, you say you want to follow the rules but your whole thread breaks the user agreement. You wrote the whole thread because of deletions in another thread.
    3. Topics that have been closed, deleted, or moved by an Administrator or Moderator have been done for a reason. Users will not open new threads on the same subject or continue to make posts about subjects that have had these actions taken. Failing to comply with this policy can result in being placed into moderated status.
You’ve been a member in the past that’s true. Kinggator and Sons, JBandStacy2014, TearDrop1776. I personally told you no politics here but you seemed to have forgotten that when referring to CO and feds following the Constitution. I do not think you are interested in following the rules except when it suits you.

It’s not that the rules are unwritten, it’s just that we can’t possibly write every possible permutation of how someone might break the rules.

    We have this rule too:
    2. Offensive posting is not allowed. That includes use of illegal substances, racism, sexism, or posts that ridicule, belittle, taunt, mock, or assault the character of other members. Our policy does not protect people that choose to verbally assault other members that may disagree with them. In essence members can disagree but should remain respectful of the person they disagree with.
We have a word filter to indicate unacceptable language here. I don’t Youtube (YT) videos all day. I may check the link, the other mods may check a link, but we are not going to check every link. If someone reports the link, we will probably look into it but again, we don’t have all day to watch YT. If you link to something that wouldn’t pass the word filter, please don’t post it. It’s kind of like a corollary in mathematics. We don’t want links to hate groups, we don’t want links to drug sites, we don’t want links to porn etc.

A bit of contradiction. I will guess maybe you were initially hiding the fact that you had other accounts. If you forget your login, you can reset it yourself or contact an admin. Contact an admin and we can change your username too. But no problems in the past, then I guess that forum is working just fine? Let’s see, I’ve been an admin since well before you joined so I must be doing something right.

I gave you an answer, the guys were essentially off-topic, we do ignore it sometimes, but right off the bat I generally don’t.

We don't generally discuss in the forums how a specific user was moderated. It generally runs afoul of #3, plus we aren't looking to embarrass the user, or have a long drawn out discussion about how you all think we are totally wrong and what the hell are we doing and ohmygod how could you moderate me, I teach Sunday school and rescue abandoned kittens, I WAS MY MOTHER'S SWEETBABYANGEL. If you have a question regarding moderation, it is generally best to contact the moderator. Dragging it out into the forums is not accceptable

Enough said about this. Thread closed.
