    Default SNP Long Term Parking

Any recommendations for a safe place to park for 2-3 weeks in the SNP area?

You can park at the Visitors Center at Rockfish Gap. It is up the hill in the parking lot of the old hotel.

It would help to be more specific. The SNP area covers 100 miles N>S, and are you hiking inside the park ? If so then where do you plan to enter the park ?
If you come through the northernmost entrance of the park then Dickey Ridge Visitors Center would be a good place to leave a car. Simply walk inside to give a heads up to a Park Ranger on your parking needs & plans.
If entering the park through the Luray entrance (Thornton Gap), then let the Ranger there assist you with your plans. Swift Run Gap entrance further south the same.
Getting lost is a way to find yourself.

Thanks. The plan is to hike the park with with a bit added on to either end. I haven't decided which direction yet but am leaning towards starting at Rockfish Gap and heading North. I have a friend who will drive me back to my car when I'm done.
